The City of Cedartown has determined Saturday, October 30 an official night for trick-or-treating.

Comissioners took the action following a special, closed session at 6 p.m. that was called to discuss a real estate matter.

City Manager Robbie Rokovitz said Cedartown followed the trend of most other communities in the region and set Saturday, Oct. 30 as the night to observe Halloween by dressing up and going door to door for candy.

Halloween falls on Sunday this year, but many communities are setting aside Saturday as the preferred night for trick-or-treaters.
