Cedartown's annual fall festival began early Saturday morning and will conclude around 10 p.m. with a fireworks show.

Numerous vendors set up to sell food and handmade crafts.

Posey Shelter Pet Promoters was arranging adoptions for several animals saved from the local pound.

And musical groups such as Musical Tattoos and Southern Thunder provided live entertainment throughout the day.

I agree with you, gills. I went to this wonderful festival and wondered where the rest of the festival was. Had it not been for the car show, I would have left immediately. It was so bad, the way I understand it, the 3rd band didn't even show. Can't blame them. This festival was a joke and so is this town.
