Allowing high school marching bands to compete against each other for judges’ scores, the event will feature a total of seven bands and will include an exhibition performance by the Rockmart High School marching band.
The day begins at 3:20 p.m. with the festival portion of the event ending around 6 p.m. and the awards ceremony scheduled to start at 8:40 p.m. Rockmart will perform at 8:10 p.m.
“We’re really excited about hosting this again and bringing people into Rockmart,” Rockmart band director Craig Godfrey said.
