Paulding County Sheriff's spokesman Capt. Brandon Gurley says the 16-year-old was taken into custody Thursday morning after parents called authorities about the teen's comments on the popular social networking website. The boy is charged with three counts of making terroristic threats - a felony - as well as one count of disruption of a public school and one count of unruly juvenile.
Gurley declined to give more details on the content of the alleged threats or who the victims are. The teen's name is not being released.
Gurley said the teen could be tried as an adult because of the felony charge, but for now he's being charged as a juvenile.
