A scheduled power outage will affect approximately 125 Cedartown residents today, according to a Georgia Power representative.

Homes located in Breckhill, Oakwood and Kenwood subdivisions will experience temporary power loss from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Not every house may lose power, it depends on how their placement on the power grid, according to Georgia Power.

There is equipment that needed to be repaired, therefore an outage was scheduled.

No future power outages are scheduled at this time for Cedartown.
