Rome: Peter Pan Presents Neverland Day

The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority and Rome Little Theatre present Neverland Day at Ridge Ferry Park on Friday, July 23.

Rome Little Theatre will perform acts from Peter Pan at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

There will be a costume contest where everyone is encouraged to come dressed as a favorite Peter Pan character. Ferries will offer face painting and characters will be on site including pirates, The Lost Boys, Peter Pan and Captain Hook.

Concessions will be available and inflatables will be on site. Families are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for lawn seating.

The event is free and activities start at 5:30 p.m.

A rain date is set for Saturday, July 24.

Pets are not allowed.

Rome Little Theatre will perform the entire play Aug. 13-Aug. 22 at DeSoto Theatre - Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m.
