Kids Fishing Rodeo a success

Families gather around the pond at Kenview Farms Saturday for the annual Polk County Kids Fishing Rodeo. The event begin at 9 a.m. and was scheduled to close out at 3 p.m. on the private farm, located northeast of Rockmart on Georgia Highway 113. More than 300 participants showed up for the event and children were allowed to catch up to eight channel catfish. Food and drinks were also provided.
