The event is an opportunity for local children, age 15 and under, to fish for channel catfish. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must bring their own fishing equipment and bait, but no fishing with minnows is allowed.
There is also an eight fish limit.
There will be prizes as well as free hotdogs and drinks provided.
Kenview Farms is located on Highway 113 between Rockmart and Cartersville. From the intersection of highways 278 and 113, in Rockmart, take Highway 113 north for four miles. Kenview farms is on the left and will be marked with signs.
