A Polk County family business of almost 50 years has opened a second location in Cave Spring. Scott Kinney cut the ribbon to his Cave Spring Hardware store at 14 Mill St. Friday during luncheon festivities.

The family has operated Morgan Hardware in Rockmart since 1961. That’s when Kinney’s father bought the business that was originally founded in 1901. Kinney bought the store in Rockmart from his father in 1990.
