Historic Purks International Championship Wrestling in Cedartown has drawn in some big named wrestlers over the past four months. Guys like Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Diamond Dallas Page and Ron Simmons along with women like Awesome Kong and Christy Hemme have came and participated in Purks wrestling. But on Saturday Purks will have their biggest star to date.

That’s because current Total Nonstop Action (TNA) superstar and World Heavyweight Champion A.J. Styles will be coming to Cedartown.

Styles, who is in the prime of his career, will take on former tag team partner and fan favorite at Purks Air Paris.

Other matches that are on the card for March 6 are: TNA Knockout Velvet Sky against Purks Diva Tracy Taylor; Simon Sermon against John Arden; David Young versus Shaun Banks; Nigel against Too Tall in a match where the loser leaves town and Purks tag team champions Thunder and Lightning will defend their belts against ‘The Rocker’ Terry Lawler and Alexander the Great.

Bell time is being advertised on posters as 7 p.m. instead of the usual 7:30 p.m.

Tickets in advance are $10 for ringside seats and $8 for general admission.
