It gave them a 27-point lead over visiting Coosa, allowed junior Marqal Washington to get in another dunk and set the stage for a 102-62 pounding of the Eagles.
The win not only avenges Rockmart’s buzzer-beating 69-67 loss to Coosa back on Jan. 12 but also gives them the No. 1 seed in Region 7-AA South heading into tonight’s final games of the regular season.
