Crowds lined Elm Street Friday as the 2009 Rockmart Christmas Parade got under way around 6 p.m. through the downtown area.

Budweiser's Clydesdale horses were a draw this year, along with Santa and Mrs. Claus and numerous floats from area churches and civic organizations.

A few floats were seen in both Rockmart's parade and Cedartown's, which was held the night before.
