Polk County will be providing the Christmas tree for the Governor’s house for the second year in a row.

That news came this week from the Georgia Forestry Commission.

Officials said the tree comes from a Rockmart Highway landowner.

A representative from the Governor’s office will be at the tree site Nov. 25 to watch as Georgia Forestry Commission workers work to remove the tree and deliver it to Atlanta.
