Georgia Northwestern Technical College is opening computer labs to the public for the Volkswagen online job application process. Volkswagen will be accepting applications online at www.vwjobschattanooga.com. Applicants can apply on any computer with internet access from home, public library, or college campus.

The open labs at GNTC will give people without access to a computer the ability to apply for open positions at the new Volkswagen Plant in Chattanooga. Labs will be available on the Floyd, Gordon, and Walker county campuses. Please Note: Personnel at Georgia Northwestern Technical College will not be able to answer questions regarding the positions at Volkswagen.

The college is simply offering access to computers for the public’s convenience. The online application is the first step, of a multi-step process, to apply with Volkswagen.

Labs will be open October 26 – November 7, 2009 at the following times:

Monday – Thursday 12:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)

Friday – 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Eastern Time)

Saturday – 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)

The open labs at Georgia Northwestern Technical College are in the following locations:

GNTC Floyd County Campus – Building H – Room H-148

GNTC Gordon County Campus – Building 300 – Room 305

GNTC Walker County Campus – Building 6000 – Room 6106
