A pregnant woman driving a pickup apparently had her brakes go out as she pulled into the parking lot of the Hardee's on U.S. 27 South across from Georgia Highlands College, according to a 911 dispatch that went out around 7:30 p.m.

The woman did not appear to be injured, according to Floyd County police, but asked to be checked out. The fire department was called to evaluate any possible structure damage to the building.

Neither the truck nor the building was damaged in the incident.
