The Cedartown Bulldogs are scheduled to travel to Bartow County Friday night to play the Cartersville Purple Hurricanes in a Region 6-AAA, sub-region 'B' football game.
However, with the high probability of rain during the day tomorrow, Cartersville High School is wanting to postpone the game until Saturday.
Rain is supposed to move into the area around 4 a.m. Friday morning according to The Weather Channel. During the day, thunderstorms are expected to move through.
However, the chance of precipitation will go down throughout the day and by 7 p.m. there is only a 30 percent chance of rain, says The Weather Channel.
An official announcement on if the game will be Friday or Saturday is scheduled to be made Friday morning at 8:30 a.m.
