The Cedartown Lady Bulldogs fast-pitch softball team put forth a strong effort over the weekend, but eventually came up a win short of a tournament championship.

Cedartown played seven games in two days, going 5-2. However, they were unable to muster any offense off the Woodland Lady Wildcats in the title game Saturday night and lost 3-0. Woodland has now won three straight Lady Devil Fall Classic titles at Alto Park.

“We have nothing to hang our heads about,” said Cedartown Head Coach Chris McKelvey. “I am proud of (this team).”

Kristen Little and Rebecca Roberts both made the All-Tournament team for the Lady Bulldogs.
