Drug task force raids suspected meth lab

The Polk County Police Department recently announced the arrest of three individuals for violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

On Friday, Oct. 10, the Polk County Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team served a narcotics related search warrant at 369 Fairview Ave., Cedartown.

Police said the location was a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory. County police say this is the 10th such meth lab located inside Polk County since Dec. 2007.

Police identified those arrested as Rhonda Lee Allen, David Allen Dawson and Charles Edward Cash.

They are charged with the following offenses: possession of meth, manufacturing meth, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, trafficking meth, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and possession of drug related objects.

I read about the meth bust as it was happening on cedartownchat.com. I hope they raid more.
