Cedartown High School is hosting its annual CHS Bulldog Academy for the freshman class of 2013 Aug. 4, beginning at 11 a.m.

This three-hour event will be held at Cedartown High School for all rising freshman in order to help students adjust to make the most of their high school experience. At the event, students will find out what it means to be a bulldog by reviewing course schedules and having their questions answered.

There will also be informational sessions for parents and students and a tour of the building. Freshmen will also have the opportunity to review and explore several of the school’s extracurricular activities, and talk with former freshman community participants.

The event will have refreshments and activities, and students will have the opportunity to meet with teachers and new classmates. The school hopes that the CHS Bulldog Academy will help rising freshman better prepare for the year.

Anyone interested in attending may contact the school today, or drop off the mailed registration form. Anyone signing up today will receive a t-shirt.
