WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today announced that Marie Gordon and Jordan Dawson, his Field Representatives for Polk County, will be holding an open office day for constituents on July 14, 2009, in Rockmart, Ga.

Gordon and Dawson will be available on Tuesday, July 14, from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the Community Bank of Rockmart, Board Room, 1400 Chattahoochee Avenue, Rockmart, Ga., 30153.

Isakson encouraged constituents to come talk with his representatives about any issues concerning the federal government, federal legislation or federal agencies, such as Veterans Affairs, the IRS, Medicare, or the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.

“This open office day will help ensure that the views, concerns and local efforts of all Georgians are reflected in the operation of our office,” said Isakson.

As Field Representatives, Gordon and Dawson are responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities in their region and acting as representatives for Isakson when he is unable to personally attend events in the area.
