A Cedartown man is in critical condition at an Atlanta hospital after an ATV accident Sunday.

From the reports of the Georgia State Patrol:

Dominique M. Dudley, 19, was traveling north on Old Jackson Chapel Road shortly after 7:30 p.m. and was negotiating a curve. Reports indicated that he was traveling to fast, however, and lost control.

The ATV crossed over the southbound lane and exited the road on the west edge and traveled 41 feet before hitting a tree.

After the impact, Dudley was ejected from the ATV. The ATV itself was found 15 feet from the impact on its left side facing west.

No skid marks were found at the scene, the report states.

Dudley was taken by life flight helicopter to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was listed in critical condition as of Tuesday afternoon.
