Cedartown High School, like the rest of high schools around Georgia, will begin fall practices on Wednesday, Aug. 1. Cedartown will practice twice on Wednesday, once in the morning and once in the evening.
Under the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) rules, teams are only allowed to practice in helmet and shorts this week. Beginning on Monday, Aug. 6 teams will be allowed to practice in full pads.
Teams will practice until Friday, Aug. 24 where they will have a scrimmage game. On Friday, Aug. 31 the regular season gets under way.
Cedartown's first regular season opponent will be Pepperell High School. They will play in Lindale on Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m.
