County police Thursday arrested three local men on drug charges in a Cedartown case.
According to Polk County Police Department reports: On March 23, the department's Narcotics Division and the Cedartown Police Department Drug Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of Marcus Neal, 427 East Point Road, Cedartown.
The Polk County Police SWAT team raided and secured the residence and all individuals at the location. Drug agents seized a quantity of suspected marijuana, suspected cocaine, a firearm and U.S. currency.
The search led to the arrest of Neal and two other men who were at the residence. Facing charges along with Neal are Albert J. Sewell, 337 Stubbs St., and Tony Lamar Jones, 217 Thompson St.
Police said all three men are charged with Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
