Firefighters check hydrants

Cedartown Fire Captain Steve Manning, right, watches as fireman Felix White opens up a hydrant on Main Street. Last week, the fire department could be seen around town checking water pressure and inspecting the condition of the hydrants. Manning said that they measure static pressure, residual pressure, flow pressure and how many gallons per minute the hydrants put out to make sure they are in proper working condition.
