Safe Kids of Polk County members recently met with Cedartown and Polk County officials to donate a “Bicycle Rodeo” trailer to the Polk County Sheriff’s Department. The trailer, which includes 13 bicycles of all different sizes, helmets and cones, were given to the department to help teach children in the city and county about bicycle safety. The program was made available with funds from Polk Medical Center, while Wal-Mart donated the bicycles.
