No official results have been released yet from the city/county elections supervisor in regards to vote tallies.

A computer glitch has slowed the release of official results, according to reports from the county registrar's office.

However, unofficial results are being circulated at the Polk County Registrar's office tonight since polls closed at 7 p.m.

As of 8:53 p.m. Scotty Tillery had the lead in the Cedartown City Commission race to fill Bert Wood's vacated seat.

Unofficial vote numbers also indicate that Gary Martin and Dale Tuck are in the lead for the other two city commission seats.

Each precinct will have their votes counted and posted throughout the night at the Polk County Administration Building.
