Girls basketball day camp at Berry; Boys camp held at Shorter

JIM IZARD BASKETBALL CAMP – The Jim Izard Girl’s Basketball Day Camp will be held June 23-26 at Berry College. From June 23-25 it will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and June 26 will be from 9 a.m. to noon.

Girls of all ages are welcome to participate in this individual fundamental and shooting camp. T

he fee for the camp is $90 for pre-registration and $100 the day of the camp.

FISHING PICTURES – The Cedartown Standard is looking for photos to run of youth fishing pictures. Anyone under the age of 18 who has caught a fish within this year can bring the photo by the office at 213 Main Street or send it to Cedartown Standard PO Box 308, Cedartown 30125.

Name(s) of the people in the photo, the place were the fish was caught, and the kind of fish it is are needed. Black and white and color photos are acceptable and you may pick up the photo after it appears in the paper.

JEFF HAARLOW’S BASKETBALL CAMP – The Jeff HaarlowBoys Basketball Camp for players ages 6-16 will be held at Berry College, July 28-31 from 9 a.m. until noon at Ford Gym. The registration fee is $50 per camper. For more information call 236-1733.

SHORTER BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP – The Shorter College Boy’s Basketball Camp will hold two sessions, the first a Junior Day Camp from June 23-26 for players ages 5-7.

The fee is $60 for early registration and $75 the first day of camp. The second camp is an Individual Camp from July 14-17 for players ages 8-15.

The early fee is $110 and $140 the day the camp begins. For more information call Ricky Williams at 233-7343.
