Officers arrested a Rockmart woman for allegedly stabbing another person in the leg with a knife on Sunday, Oct. 12.

According to reports:

Officer Jeremy Wilkes drove to 32 Second Street, Rockmart, to investigate a violent domestic dispute. When he arrived, he spoke with Eurkea Jackson, 33, Rockmart, who accused 36-year-old Grindle Lee Leland, also of Rockmart, of stabbing her in the leg.

Jackson claimed she and Leland were arguing when the suspect allegedly used a pocketknife to stab her in the right thigh.

Wilkes later found Leland. She was arrested on aggravated assault charges and booked at the Polk County Jail.
