A domestic disturbance leadto a Polk man’s arrest on drug charges Saturday, April 26.

According to police:

Emergency 9-1-1 received a call that a domestic disturbance was in progress at Willows Mobile Home Community at lot 114.

Sgt. Carl Rice and Officer Craig Payton went to the home and found the door partially torn from the hinges. When the two entered, they found spilled beer and turned over furniture across the residence.

The two looked through the rooms, finding Olin Middlebrooks, 42. By his feet was a cellophane cigarette wrapper. Once they examined the wrapper, the officers discovered one suspected crack rock.

Though Middlebrooks claimed it did not belong to him, he was charged with violating the Georgia Controlled Substance Act (VGCSA) by possession of crack cocaine. He was later transported to the Polk County Jail.
