Another suspect appearing in a Polk County Most Wanted List has been arrested, according to Sheriff officials.

Last Friday, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office announced that Regina Mitchell had been taken into custody.

Mitchell was wanted on two counts of deposit account fraud and a probation violation.

Sheriff officials said Mitchell turned herself in.

She was the second of five suspects to be captured. Janet Clay, wanted on deposit account fraud charges, was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 6, the same day the Most Wanted List ran in The Cedartown Standard.

Clay was arrested following a tip reported to the Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s officials state they have been overwhelmed with the number of citizen calls on the suspect’s whereabouts and ask for continual help.
