The church is located just north of Cedartown on Highway 27.
Our House is a program that helps battered and abused women and children. Just recently Our House has seen the addition of a housing shelter specifically for victims of domestic violence.
The guest speaker at the forum will be Nellie Dunaway Duke.
Duke has served as Chair of the Georgia Commission on Women since 1992. She has served on numerous boards and commissions with an emphasis on violence and abuse. Duke has been a vital part of the Our House programs development.
Both public and private sectors financially support the services that Our House provides to victims of domestic violence in Polk County.
Individual tickets can be purchased for $25 and corporate sponsorships are also available.
The types of sponsorships are listed below:
—$600 Gold Sponsor: a table for 10, recognition as a Gold Sponsor through signs at he event entrance and at the table, verbal recognition as a Gold Sponsor, inclusion as a Gold Sponsor in all radio and print press releases and a full page ad in the breakfast program.
—$250 Silver Sponsor: a table for 10 and recognition as a silver sponsor by signs at event entrance and table.
—$125 Bronze Sponsor: a one-half table for five and recognition as a Bronze Sponsor by signs at event entrance.
Anyone wishing to be a sponsor can do so by writing a check payable to Our House and sending it to Jennae Elder, P.O. Box 416, Cedartown, GA 30125.
Ticket orders must be purchased by Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Also, Our House will be holding its annual candlelight vigil in Rockmart on Sunday Oct.21, at 7 p.m.
The vigil will begin at Rockmart City Hall and proceed down Marble Street. Mayor Curtis Lewis will speak to those gathered.
The purpose of the candlelight vigil is to remember those who have been affected and continue to be victims of domestic violence.
There is counseling available to residents of the Our House shelter as well as occupational assistance.
