The shots, hard to find just a couple of months ago, are readily available for people in a recently expanded list of CDC-recommended priority groups.
Polk County Health Department officials are asking anyone in these priority groups who wants a flu shot to visit the health department during regular immunization-clinic hours.
In Cedartown, hours are Monday, 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Tuesday 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Wednesday 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Thursday 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. In Rockmart hours are every Thursday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The shots were in short supply until recently because of a nation-wide shortage due to contaminated vaccines from the suppliers.
