The Georgia Wildlife Federation is proud to present the largest sportsmen’s show in the Southeast, the 2002 Atlanta Buckarama.

Happening August 1-4 at the Atlanta Expo Center, the Buckarama will feature hundreds of thrilling exhibits, big-name speakers, incredible door prizes, and more record whitetails than ever before.

Come see the world-record whitetail and meet the hunter who harvested it—Milo Hanson. Scored by Boone and Crockett judges at an astonishing 213 5/8 points, the beautiful Hanson Buck will be on display throughout the weekend.

Want to see more big racks? Jeff Banks will be exhibiting his amazing 17-pointer harvested in Morgan County, Georgia, on opening day last season. We’ve got over 300 feet of blue-ribbon whitetails at the 2002 Buckarama!

If that’s not enough, check out Rodney Kelly’s North American Big Game Collection. See deer, black bear, moose, mountain goat, and elk—-all in full mount display.

We’ve also got hunting-dog shows, birds of prey, and exciting trick-shooting archery demonstrations. Catch hourly seminars on bow hunting, muzzle loading, and more.

Make sure you save some time to do some shopping, too. As always, you’ll find the best deals around on hunting equipment, clothing, and everything else you need for the upcoming season.

While you shop, take a minute to register for our fantastic door prizes—-Gunslinger deer stands (the ultimate in comfort), CVA blackpowder deer rifles, hunting trips, Realtree camo, and more!

And don’t even think about heading home until you’ve checked out our deer head display. With hundreds of deer heads from all over Georgia, it’s really a sight to behold. Enter your deer head in our contest and you’re automatically eligible to win a brand-new CVA deer rifle.

The Atlanta Buckarama is an educational fundraising event sponsored by the Georgia Wildlife Federation, Georgia’s oldest and largest conservation organization and a state affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation.

Founded in 1936 by sportsmen and women, GWF leads the fight to protect Georgia’s wildlife and other natural resources.

Since 1984 the money raised at the Buckarama has helped support GWF’s conservation education efforts, including the highly successful Schoolyard and Backyard Wildlife Habitat programs.

The 2002 Atlanta Buckarama will take place on August 1, 2, 3, and 4 at the Atlanta Expo Center, I-285, Exit 55.

Admission to the show is $7 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $4 for kids 6-12. Kids under 6 get in free. Parking is free.
