Senator Nathan Dean (D- Rockmart) was on hand recently to award the City of Cedartown a $500,000 grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation. Dean obtained the grant from the DOT which will be used for a streetscape project in downtown Cedartown. Dean also secured $255,000 for Rockmart’s project. Dean said, “I appreciate the full cooperation of the DOT ...
