The Atlanta Fisharama will be held Feb. 2, 3, and 4, at the Atlanta Expo Center, Exit 55 at I-285. Doors open Friday 1-9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Admission is seven dollars for adults and four dollars for seniors and children ages 6-12. Children under six are admitted free.

The Atlanta Fisharama trade show is an educational fundraising event sponsored by the Georgia Wildlife Federation, a non-profit organization that began in 1936 and is now 58,000 members strong. Proceeds from the annual Fisharama, Turkeyrama and Buckarama go toward such programs as Schoolyard Wildlife Habitat programs, educational materials, and the Georgia Wildlife Federation Alcovy Conservation Center in Covington.

Sportsmen and country music fans alike will want to join the excitement at the 2001 Atlanta Fisharama where they can hear and meet singer Tracy Byrd. “Awesome” is word many country music fans use to describe Tracy Byrd’s way with a song. “Awesome” is the same word used by Byrd uses when talking about outdoor experiences. In addition to family and music, his passions are hunting and fishing. In fact, before finding success in Nashville, Byrd dreamed of a career as a pro bass angler with his own outdoor television program.
