Police are investigating what appears to be the fourth murder in Polk County this year.

The victim, 56-year-old Glen Glaze of Cedartown, was shot Sunday while riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle through the Cedartown area, Polk Capt. Ray Sullivan said.

The shooting occurred between 12:30 and 1:45 p.m. on Potash Road.

Initially, police were called to the crime scene to investigate a single-vehicle accident but quickly realized Glaze had died of a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

No arrests had been made as of Monday afternoon.
