CHS alumnus and former football standout, Ken Veal, was invited to speak Tuesday at the high school Renaissance program honoring students who maintained an 82.5 or above grade point average. Veal, who made the All State Football Team in high school and played for the University of Georgia, encouraged the students to take their academics seriously and praised those receiving awards for their hardwork. He is pictured above receiving a Renaissance T-shirt from teacher Tiffani Russell.
