From reports:
On February 13, police were informed of a suspected child molestation case.
The teenage victim and her parents told police that when she was 15 years old, she had unforced sex with 21-year-old Dimitrius Lashun Huggins, 912 Cleo Street.
Police investigated the allegations and issued a warrant for Huggins’ arrest sometime later.
On Wednesday, February 19, Huggins was arrested on charges of statutory rape, child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
He is currently being held in the Polk County jail.
