The Cedartown Fire Department will be conducting its annual tests of pumper trucks this week.

The tests will be conducted at Mundy's Lake off College Drive. The tests require that the fire department block part of the road.

Pumper trucks will be in operation to test pumping operation and strength. The trucks will be spraying streams of water high into the air over the lake.

The tests are to begin around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and should continue through Thursday. Additional testing might take place on Friday, but that was uncertain, Fire Chief Sammy Stephens said.
