Cedartown Library invites kids of all ages to participate in events this summer

This summer, the Cedartown Library invites you to express yourself.

The Cedartown Library, located at 245 East Ave., has made reading and participating the thing to do this summer with games, programs and events that target children and teens of all ages.

Apart from the summer reading program, the library hosts storytellers every Monday at 11 a.m.

June 15 - Miss Lula Bell—Storyteller

June 22 – Rome Library Puppeteers

June 29 – Singing Stories with Eric Litwin

July 6 - The Magic of Chad Crews

July 13 – Rome Library Puppeteers

On Friday, June 12th at 6 p.m., Southeastern Reptile Rescue will present a fun & exciting show filled with those “cuddly” critters that slither. Fun for all ages. Make this a Friday– Family Night!

The library also hosts movies for teens (rated PG or PG13) every Tuesday at 2pm, and on Thursdays hosts Theatre (rated G or PG) from 10am and 2p.m. The library also sells popcorn at these event for 25 cents
