Cedartown native Kevin Bullard has been selected to the X Hot Long Drive team.

According to a press release by Callaway golf, Bullard was one of ten long drive professionals chosen last week to the team. They will join RE/MAX world long drive champions Jamie Sadlowski, Joe Miller and Bobby Wilson as Callaway Ambassadors.

The members of the X Hot Long Drive team along with Bullard are Jeff Farley (Laguna Beach, Calif.), Josh Crews (Willis, Texas), Mike Dobbyn (Dallas, Texas), Aaron Mansfield (Pittsburgh, Pa.), Bobby Bradley (West Palm, Fla.), William Hinson (Blythewood, S.C.), Ben Tua’one (Salt Lake City, Utah), Carl Wolter (Lehighton, Pa.) and Andrew Frakes (Omaha, Neb.).

According to the press release, two-time RE/MAX world champion Wolter and former world champion Dobbyn headline the group of long drive professionals, who have all proven themselves in Long Drive of America (LDA) competitions and keep extensive exhibition and competition schedules. The X Hot team features both experience and newcomers. Hinson is just 17 years old and Frakes is 21. The long drive team will play and promote Callaway clubs, balls, and sport the Callaway X Hot staff bag and cap.

LDA and the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship will begin a new partnership with NBC’s Golf Channel in 2013, totaling 26 hours of airtime on Golf Channel affiliates worldwide. October becomes Long Drive Month on the Golf Channel, culminating in a live two-hour finale from Las Vegas on the Golf Channel on October 30.

The sport will also make its network television debut on NBC in Q4 that intends to elevate the sport of long drive. As the exclusive club sponsor, Callaway will be prominently featured during the events.
