Rockmart’s Logan Warren represented his community at the freshmen state tournament and he went 2-1 in the 195-pound division.

Warren received a first round bye before pinning Nolan Cleary of NewRock Wrestling Club in 32 seconds. Warren then pinned David Galaviz to advance into the championship match. In the title match, Warren lost to Felipe Silva of the Wheeler Wildcats.

Kudos to Dennis Wolfe, senior at Rockmart High School, for taking his time & coaching these boys at Freshman State so that they werent on the mats alone. Dennis was there to help the Rockmart boys when he realized he could represent Polk County, not just Rockmart. There were also 2 freshmen, Logan Warren & Brantley Millhollan, from Rockmart who attended as well.
