He was born on Jan. 7, 1943 in Dekalb, the son of the late Howard and Evie Green.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Joe Green and Hugh Don Green.
He is survived by his wife Carol Green; daughters, Lori Davis and Veronica Carter; sons Jeff Green, Derrick Barry and Todd Barry; sister, Wanda Faye Rhinehart; several grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements were conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Floyd officiating.
Interment followed in Old Nazareth Cemetery in Forney, Ala.
