Burch served as a nurse practitioner at Berry College and was the Director of the Health and Wellness Center there. She also focused on cardiology for Harbin Clinic physician Dr. Hunter Myers and most recently practiced women’s health and pediatrics for 11 years at Dr. James Douglas’ office in Rome.
Burch previously worked at Floyd as an LPN and RN in Women’s and Children’s Services and the Coronary Care Unit. She received her master’s of science degree in nursing and nursing education degree from Georgia State University.
She was the past president of the United Advanced Practice Nurses of Rome and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
