NAIA Championship: Teams to arrive in Rome today

The final preparations for the NAIA football championship game are in place. The only things needed now are the teams.

Marian and Morningside will make their way into Rome today, and Bill Peterson, co-chairman of the NAIA Host Committee, said they are looking forward to welcoming some new faces to Rome.

“I think everybody is excited,” said Peterson. “Certainly the Host Committee is excited about two new teams that have never been to Rome, and showing off the city, showing off Barron Stadium, and showing them some Rome hospitality.”
