The Cedartown Recreation Department will be having a meeting about the upcoming Little League baseball season on Sunday, Dec. 2.

“We will be having a reorganizational meeting about the Little League program,” recreation director Lee Hayes said. “The meeting will be at 4 p.m.”

Hayes said the meeting will be to discuss going strictly to Little League baseball next spring at the Bert Wood Youth and Athletic Complex.

“The meeting will be for everyone that is interested in being involved in the Cedartown Little League program,” Hayes said. “Umpires, coaches, volunteers, they all need to be there.”

Hayes said that the district administrator from Cartersville will be at the meeting to handle everything.

The meeting will be inside the Senior Building.

Also, Hayes noted that on Sunday, Dec. 9 they will have another meeting to elect a board.
