The biggest congressional race on Tuesday's ballot features Democratic Rep. John Barrow of Augusta who is fighting for a fifth term in a district redrawn to favor Republicans. Barrow faces Republican state Rep. Lee Anderson.
Republicans currently hold eight of 14 seats in Georgia's congressional delegation and Republicans are looking to gain two more. Besides the Barrow race, Republicans are eyeing the state's newest district gained after the 2010 Census.
That district is packed with Republicans, giving state Rep. Doug Collins of Gainesville an edge over Democrat Jody Cooley.
Nine of Georgia's congressmen are facing opposition but are favored for re-election. Three are unopposed.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
