She was born on Oct. 9, 1941 in Aragon, the daughter of the late James Kelley and the late Mattie Hindmand Kelley.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Frank Allen, on March 1, 2008; daughter, Paula Allen; sister, Nellie Kelley; and brothers, Bill Kelley and Bud Kelley.
Survivors included three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Donald Morgan of Cedartown, Sherry and Doug Salzberg of Rockmart and Tammy and David Connell of Cedartown; son, Michael Allen of Cedartown; two sisters, Janette Ingle and Virginia Morgan both of Aragon; brother, Jerry Kelley of Aragon; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Payton Boswick officiating.
Interment services followed in the Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gene Byars, Roy House, Rusty Morgan, Danial Casteel and Tyler Hill.
