Elizabeth was born May 22, 1941 in Cedartown, Georgia, a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Crocker. She graduated from Cedartown High School and went to work at Lockheed Aircraft Plant in Marietta, Georgia, from where she retired.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert McCoy; sister, Faye Paxton; brothers, Dale, Jerry and Ralph Crocker; sons, Charles Coleman, Jack McCoy, and Greg McCoy; grandchildren, Lauren McCoy, Melissa Coleman, Christian Coleman, Dorothy Jean McCoy and Lauren Falvey McCoy; many nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Elizabeth Jean (Crocker) McCoy will be held Monday morning, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Monastery of the Glorious Ascension, 5052 Old Dixie Hwy, Resaca, Georgia, 30735. She will be laid to rest at the Holy Resurrection Cemetery at the Monastery.
