She was born in Weirton, W.V. on Sept. 15, 1938, a daughter of the late Raymond P. Aberregg and Susan Margaret Czoka Aberregg.
Mrs. Ferguson had been a resident of Aragon since 1994 and was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church located on Booger Hollow Road in Lindale. She was a homemaker and a self-employed seamstress.
Survivors include her husband, David L. Ferguson, of Aragon, to whom she was married on Nov. 8, 1980; two daughters, Julie Lynn Romero, of Dallas and Sandra Garner, of Rockmart; one sister, Donna Sue Briggs, of Deltona, Fla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the New Prospect Baptist Church, 1893 Booger Hollow Road SW, Lindale, with Rev. John Snipes and Rev. Chris Johnson officiating.
The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
